April 2013 Update

Below are the updated standings as of today for Project Impact 2013!  The herd has certainly thinned quite a bit as the 1-pointers have been knocked out of the race.  Church took advantage of the 50% point bonus this month and sprung past everyone, taking 1st place all on his lonesome.

1st Place: Churchill (4.5 points)

2nd Place: Awesomebill, Ald (3 points each)

3rd Place: Lusty, MajorFletch (2 points each)

It's good to see some activity on the homefront here.  With new additions of for Wildstar, Neverwinter, and the Tabletop Gaming group, there's a lot more potential for our members to bring their friends and family to IGC!  I hope others are enjoying watching this race unfold as much as I am!  Also, I wanted to remind others of this tidbit from the last update:

For the months of AprilAugust, and December, members of IGC will be able to earn points at 1.5x their usual rate!  That's a 50% bonus for contributing to your community and is a little something from me to you.  What this means is that for each member you recruit, you'll earn 1.5 IP instead of 1 IP.  The bonus applies to any IP earned in the "standard" way, which are outlined in our introductory post about Project Impact.  Monthly events such as VI's P.I.E for March would be excluded from this bonus to promote fairness throughout the community (hey, I can't predict when a leader will run these events and I wouldn't want them to limit them to only April, August, and December either!).

With that said, stay tuned for more action as Project Impact continues to thrive here at IGC.  Remember, there's cool stuff at stake here!!!  Check back at the end of May for the next update!
