Our schedule

This week we return to Cosmic Encounter with seven players. Some are new to this game and maybe I didn't explain the rules so great (there's a lot of them!) but that didn't stop us from getting down and dirty in space politics. The first game features a fearsome duo of AIMonster and Megabyte trying to sway power their way the entire game. But do they ultimately pull it off? Hmmmm... For the second game we rock out with five and find ourselves much more familiar with the ins and outs of the game. It gets a bit cutthroat and alliances shift quickly. This is really one of my favorite games to play and I think it's become infectious in the group. Watch our videos for both games if you'd like to see more!

We had planned to play Werewolf today but we fell short a couple of players so we decided to take a different direction and try out Kemomimi Panic. It's a social deception game much like Werewolf or Mafia but with a few key differences that create solid distinctions between the games. Once we got passed the anime girl art on the cards, we actually had a really great time with this one. Watch as our group tries to outwit each other to uncover or protect the thief, depending on which team you're on. We took great full advantage of Tabletop Simulator's "blindfold" feature in this one and it made for a very fun time!

We had a great, long game of Betrayal at House on the Hill. We tried out the new Widow's Walk expansion and triggered a late haunt from the new rules. Everyone turns against a single player in this one and it plays out in a very interesting way. The traitors fight to kill the lone survivor. Will the survivor escape or be trapped in the house forever? Watch on the see how it all unfolds in this creaky mansion of demise...

What fun! The crew hooks up with two new players to bring you this game of Carcassone. Grey and SamZ work on building an empire while AIMonster and Wintertide (dragon) build their own enemy base in the Southlands. Megabyte shows us how being a pauper might be a lucrative endeavor and there's even a road to nowhere. Check out the game as it unfolds in our video!

We're gonna give Mysterium the ol' college try today! Some great things have been said about this game and it was time to see what all the talk was about. Mysterium is an asymmetrical co-op game where one player, a ghost, attempts to communicate the method of their death to everyone else, the investigators, using abstract vision cards. Can we figure out who murdered Grey? Do all the clues suck? What did we think about the game personally? Watch on to find out.
