For the next 48 hours, the Guild Wars 2 beta application is live. Head on over to https://beta.guildwars2.com/ to sign up. The application will abruptly vanish come Friday, so do not delay.
The beta signup site will direct you to download a tool to scan your PC's hardware, to see if you match what developer ArenaNet's looking for, so you'll want to do this on your gaming system rather than your grinding work PC.
Violent Impact is making a comeback in Guild Wars 2!
Soon one of our most beloved guilds will make a triumphant return in ArenaNet's upcoming title Guild Wars 2! With a release date still unannounced, we are beginning only preliminary preparation for recruitment. This begins with gauging the interest of our members, looking at the spread of class interest, and other boring leadership things you probably don't care about!
What you probably will care about is recruitment is starting very, very soon. So if you're looking for a group of incredibly experienced players, and a PvP game like no other, then look no further than Violent Impact Rebirth (that's what I'm calling it for now since I can!).
Look for an application to be available in the next couple of days, but in the meantime if you really want to get started with us, register and make a post in our Guild Wars 2 discussion forum. With the guild already garnering so much interest, there's no time to waste! Of course our Friends & Family policy will always be there for those with less time than the usual semi-hardcore player. All the same, let us know you're interested and we'll get you on the roster!
Alright then! Good times ahead for all and good luck to Naughtius and the VI leadership! I know you guys will do a great job :)
Tonight, after a lot of hard work and dedication, Radiant Impact was finally able to defeat Hard Mode Soa! Grats to everyone involved and let's keep the pain train moving!
Here's Dash modelling the mount that drops, the Dessler Avenger.
Beep-Beep! Server Merger Incoming!
Well it seems we've finally come down to it. FFXIV director Yoshi-P has finally decided upon a method for merging the servers (or has he...). On March 1st we're going to be given our first chance to choose a new server to hop to. Currently our server, Figaro, has tentatively made up its mind as to where it is going; World 6. Neutral Impact however has other plans.
While we don't necessarily have any particular aversion to World 6, or any other world for that matter, we're taking matters into our own hands and discussing just where we're going to end up on March 27th. As an end game linkshell, we'd like to be somewhere there is a strong NA presence at or near our timezone. The NA crowd has simply refused to organize themselves this way, making such a server choice difficult to find. Our next priority thereafter would be to spread ourselves out a bit more among a new crowd of players.
So that's pretty much the skinny on Neutral Impact at the moment. We do not have a definite answer for the Figaro community that has been asking us what we're doing. When we know, we'll let everyone else know. In the meantime good luck in deciding your FFXIV future! We'll be doing the same!
